Wow!

And KRISHH too (on June 22).

All RGV films, as well as, KRISHH are heavy on Gum Shots and Sound Effects. I hope the Cinema is equipped at least for Dolby Digital Sound if not THX as well.

We are showing them at 2 different theaters - Shiva at only one - but the one with the good sound system is the ImaginAsia on 59th street - so definitely pick that venue for best sound and more comfortable seats!

I was actually checking out the subway website earlier, and I noticed that Nagarjuna is credited as an artist in Shiva. Can you confirm if this is true? or if it's a typo? or some other type of admin error?

if I was anywhere near NY, I'd be all over this. sadly, I'm not.

I wish they had the SHIVA premiere on a Saturday or Sunday. The weekday showtimes doesn't really work out for me since I don't live in the city. Hopefully, I'll be able to catch the weekend showings of EK HASINA THI and COMPANY.

But he only directed one of those films - Company, and the first Shiva - I'm not sure about the new one. He produced the others. If they have a selection of 'his' films then it should be the films he directed. Company is a good choice but I think it needs to be re-edited in terms of the background music and how they overplayed that familiar tune throughout.
I think Satya would've been a much better choice, it's a far better film.

It's was a good idea that they chose not to show one of his mediocre horror films.

Yeah The Imaginasian is EX-ready so the sound system is quite solid. I'll definitely be there for Krrish....I really wanted to see Shiva, but will have to wait due to a previous commitment.

The ImaginAsian is a tiny little theater. Honestly, "big" movies don't really "kick ass" on their not-so-big screen.

Shiva is no longer part of the festival screening. They announced it today during the showing of A BITTERSWEET LIFE.

Company print was full of scratches. It wasn't presented in Dolby Digital at Imaginasian.

The presentation of A Bittersweet Life was really good. The print was beautiful and sound was in excellent DD. BTW, the movie rocked too! 8)

Maybe for next year they can arrange some Maniratnam films like Nayakan, Roja, Bombay and Kannathil Muthamittal.
