wtf ? Disc 3 is a game?
I would like an anamorphic widescreen presentation that it crisp, sharp and clean. Would prefer subs. Dolby digital 5.1 that is loud sharp and clear. I doubt that will be though cos indian dvd retailers are reliable for producing cr*p discs. Would definetly like to see some extras. Some deleted scenes and an alternate ending. interviews.commentary with the cast and crew. behind the scenes. I somewhat doubt all this will be. All the mentioned features are almost standard for hollywood discs. Why cant indian film/dvd makers understand this and offer a better dvd package for us. The market is quite big for indian dvds. Wouldnt it be great if criterion started making indian dvds. I wouldnt mind paying a bit extra for a better dvd.

I saw the movie yesturday at the local Theater, It was a decent idea. I think it was kind of like Entrapment with Shaun Connery and Katherine Zeta Jones-Douglas . With AB and Sush. But they had to add the blind guys. I think the movie would have been a whole lot better if they tried to stick to the Entrapment story line a bit more. I think the game will be the same as AB was playing (with him being the lead hero in the game) in the movie.


But I defnitley think this movie is a wait until the price drops buy. I mean when it gets a few months old instead of the 20 to 25 dollar range, I would pick it up in the 5 to 10 dollar range.

The movie has good comedy but not so funny that you will wanna see it over and over again.

Disc1 : film with bad master used and problems half way through the disc.

Disc 2 : umh we still dont know what rubbish to put on this.

Disc 3 : some cheap shoddy game that you can download off the net for free anyway.

I think most ppl will agree sod the 3 discs just give us one decent disc with a decent quality film and we will be happy.

Excuse me but this film was not a shit remake of entrapment or any other film....the film was a remake of a gujrati play called "Andhalo patolo" which has ran for over 10 years in Gujrat.....so go home matey

Shouldn't Video Sound try and get one good disc out before three? And how are they going to figure out what to put on the second disc and master it properly within 6 days (if you stick to the release date of 16th April)?

it is off a Hollywood Movie (i.e., Lagaan) Look I know you guys will shit a brick when you read the comment on Lagaan, but I am right. How many sport movies have you seen, where the under dogg team is given a unfair disadvantage, and some how finds a way to win. Well trust me there have been too many to count. Just because the movie was one of the first main stream hits in a long time. Does not mean it was a bad movie, but an OSCAR come on...............................


sorry for the rant, I am just sick and tired of all the bitching and complaining. A movie is as good as it is made.
The fundamentals of a good movie, is a good STORY, GOOD ACTING, and GOOD PRESENTATION.

If the movie sucks as
it does not matter how fu*%ing good the DVD will or should be. Because I much rather has a sup par dvd of a great movie, than a great DVD of a sub par movie.

To sum it up, We should be complaining that Bollywood should concentrate on making good movies, and then good dvds.
