I want to burn films on two DVDs as I don't want to reduce quality. Presumbly I cannot copy the menu in such instances, and therefore I need help in creating a song menu.

Could someone advise me which software to use, and which options would allow me to create a song menu.

Your help would be greatly appreciated! :D

Actually DVD Remake Pro enable you to combine two dvds into one, similar to 2in1 dvds .. you can make a custom 2in1 dvd menu while retaining the original dvd menus. I made once .. and it worked like a charm.

Otherwise use TMPGEnc DVD .. you can create custom DVD menus and custom chapter selections or song selections.

Legend, I think my question was the opposite. I want to split one pre-recorded DVD into two DVD-R whilst retaining the Menu option.

I use IFOedit to split the dvd maintaining the menu.

It's not user-friendly but it works great keeping all the original menus on both dvds.

Vijay - At the moment I am experimenting with CloneDVD. I will look at the software you mentioned later, and let you know what I think. Thanks for the recommendation.

And what is the best software for making a song DVD with a Menu? Thanks :D

well then you can use DVD Fab .. I have used it as well when i wanted to burn a movie over two dvds.. most recently i used it to split the sanjay dutt flick daag onto two dvdrs and it worked flawlessly .. it kept everything while retaining the quality in full. IFO Edit .. I heard is excellent, but I need something quick and thats a no brainer, i dont have time to fiddle with things and with dvd fab .. within a few short clicks it began splitting and within no time .. kaboom .. movie was split into two seperate directories ready for burning on to two dvdrs :)

Thanks for the recommendation.

For the song DVD I want to extract songs from different DVDs and create a Song Menu. I only want to compile about 20 songs, less than 2 hours of recording, and need appropriate software recommendation that is focused on creating easy Menu rather than shrinking quality.

Do you still recommend TMPGEnc DVD software for this purpose or is there anything more simpler out there?

Thanks :D

Legend, Could you give me the download link of the software you are recommending as I am getting confused with all the different versions when I googled for it! Which version do I need? Also, is this freeware or do I have to buy it? Thank

I don't normally source MP3 audio CDs from DVDs. I thought the best quality was from original CDs or Vinyls?

That is no excuse! Go on to ebay and you can still find quality vinyls of titles that not released on CD! I even paid $50 for one vinyl, and had them delivered from every corner of the world

But now you mentioned it, I should save some money and start ripping MP3 from my DVDs... Now, the software... Any ideas, anyone?

Legend, don't forget to give me the link of TMPGEnc DVD!
