Guess anxious moments calls for desperate measures, and as they say any port for a storm! :P I don't know if anybody is paying attention, but Bollywood has been doing a lot of reverse out sourcing lately! So whats up with that?

ah so good to see indian dvd makers being true to their practice
they are so consistent, i was concerned when utv started presented movies in good quality one after another
good to see them consistently being INCONSISTENT
can't count on a single indian dvd maker to provide a good quality standard dvd, and HD is almost here, wonder what will happen

Unfortunately nothing because there is a large percentage of people still happy renting a movie on VHS with dvd print for a $1

well said! that's the exact reason companies who tried to bring quality slowly disappeared or bought by other companies.

Most of the users at zulm are there from years and we hardly see that grow. That tells something about the customers we have who really care about quality. Most of our customers look for cheapest possible price or Free downloads or try to share a rental with 2-3 families!

Unless the mindset of our Indian customer changes we have not much hope. We should be glad with want we are getting right now and support atleast the companies that give us the best!

Welcome!! kits!! this scares me "EROS GOING HIGH DEF DVDS"

BEI's latest titles has been atrocious, being exact! I saw some hope in UTV but they churned a below par product, just to sell it umpteen time, like Devdas 4X or so!! Well!!

As you are saying, I see educated people renting compressed hindi dvds on DVD-R without any objection..lol

just out of curiousity, is this the only version we'll be seeing of Rang De Basanti since all that is offered is deleted scenes; no making or anything. just wondering. and i'm surprised at UTV; all i can say is what the hell happened...a rushed product maybe? who knows.

Rushed DVDs usually appear a day or two after the cinema release - RDB has had a good few months run to get a decent DVD done.
