Any idea when the DVD of Iqbal is coming out? Eros have a product listing of this at their site.

http://www.erosentertainment.com/eros_u ... n.asp?5801

But they dont specify any date.

Yes that is the proper name of the film. I have heard that this film is about a budding cricketer or something. May be the name is a take on our "Rawalpindi Express" Shoiab Akhtar.

Why are they taking so long with this DVD?

I hope another company besides Eros will release the film on DVD too, like for the Indian market or so. I want to boycot Eros DVD since they've screwed up such a visually beautiful film as PAHELI was. I saw that movie in the theatre, and the print was just EXCELLENT! The DVD is so disappointing! :x

IndiaFM says Iqbal released in US, UAE and South Africa, only yesterday. May be thats why the DVD is getting delayed.

So finally, Iqbal is on DVD. Is it on pre-orders or has someone started selling it?

Transfer looks like that of a film in 1970s. Or was it shot like this? Anyone saw this on theaters?

Is it? Thank God for clearing that. I was very much disappointed seeing those c(r)aps.

BTW are you sure about this? The release group claims it is DVDRiP and no one has so far questioned them.
