I recently emailed DEI about Sknaths revelations of AB classics such as suhaag, shahenshah and parvarish, and today i was head over heels when they replied with this email:

Thanks for your recent query, we have currently put majority of our classic releases on hold and instead have concentrated on perfecting our fourthcoming release Aankhen. We will ensure you that this will be our best release upto date. It will have a DTS soundtrack along with a regular Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack. We have also corrected the squash problem. I am sure you will be pleased with the news and will carry on supporting us in the near future.

Although I am overjoyed by this surprising turn of events, I am a bit skeptical. DEI are now famous for claiming films that they back out from later. It has happened many times before, so I don't know if I should believe this. VS still has Aankhen on its site, and most of the stores are still advertising it as a VS release. So basically, I'll believe it when I see it, but this news does sound promising.
Also, the cover doesn't seem authentic as it looks like the DEI, DTS, DVD, and DD 5.1 symbols have just been superimposed on one of the Aankhen posters.

gosh and i got my hopes up dramatically...well never thought abt april fools cos it is not yet 1st april here in canada.... maybe if i had read it 2morrow.... ah well all i can say that was a good one !!!!!!!

Faddy strikes again! :) Lol... sorry guys but i couldnt resist! Just had to get that one in!! Anyway its amazing what a 5 minute job on Photoshop can do...!! Maybe DEI shud offer me a job in creating covers for them!! What a great cover indeed!!

Never said that I didnt have a SOH :D... But this ( IMO) isnt the forum for doing that right ?... What say you ALI
