I hope the French continue the trend of including DTS soundtrack in all this dvds like Swades. Although I'm begining to get sick of Yash Raj films, I might get them if they are in DTS

I wouldn't worry, Bodega's record is still hit-and-miss with these DVDs.

I got the French DDLJ DVD - it's awful (NTSC to PAL), and otherwise identical to the YRF DVD. I'll post screenshots soon.

It's not all bad news though, as there were trailers for the other releases on the disc and some of them look good. DDLJ, Dil To Pagal Hai, Mohabbatein and K3G are all NTSC to PAL and look dreadful, but Hum Tum, Dhoom, Saathiya and Kabhi Kabhie all look to be from YRF's original PAL sources. They look excellent - great colours and sharpness. Here's the shots from the trailers...

I've since found out that Bodega are not using the same transfers as posted above for the actual DVDs, so I imagine the French Saathiya DVD will be idential to the German release (just like Hum Tum).

There's screenshots from the German REM disc here...
