Not a bad movie and may be thats why rejected by media and the mass!

Adhu Oru Kanakaalam - expected a lot more from BM but prooved that he has to retire. IR is the magic in this movie. IR these days has malayalam movie hangover, that you can clearly see. Some of the BGM he used reminds me of some malayalam songs!

Maaja wasn't a great film as it was too predictable and the songs too dull. Can't believe this was a malay story....

Also, Vikram acting was slightly poor in places when compared to excellent character actor Pasupathy, who plays his brother. This was a shock after his work in Pitamagan and Anniyan.

I just saw the malayalam version online... the dialogues are so witty and fun. Good movie.

I hope Vikram stops doing malayalam remakes... u wait so long for a vikram movie and if what u get is something u've already seen, its dissappointing...to say the least.

Chintavishtyaya Shyamala (original Chitamabarathil...)- very very good movie by Sreenivasan. I dunno what happened to that actress who played Shyamala. She was really good.

Thotti Jaya- Very average. I was lmao when the villain got a beat down by our hero and all the crooks and goondas in Chennai showed up to console him.

Aaru- A pointless and violent movie. Even Surya can't save this one. Avoid!

Sandai Kozhi - Good movie from the director of RUN. The music is decent from YSR. Meera Jasmin was superb. She had lots of fun with her character. The movie keeps you entertained with out any dull moments.

I got bored during Majaa...........which is unusual for a Vikram film. I've just rented Bose (with Srikanth) - is this any good?

Kallabakadalan is similar to vaali but instead of brother, we have sisters here :) and less fight and less fight, good bgm by ysr.

Thambi - Thumbsup
Madhavan - Thumbsup (2 for good performance minus 1 for overacting)
Lot of action - but theme is good. Typical Shankar type movie.

Loved Dishyum. It was an all round entertainer, with decent screenplay and performances. What's the DVD quality like?
