No. VGP is the copyright holder. Its still doing good business in TN so the original copy is not with the copyright holder. Have to wait for 3 month completion. So probably by end of this month we can expet....

I saw Ghajini ( had to....., peer pressure !) - Walking out of the theater it felt like a glossy C-Grade flick..., IMO romance between Asin and Surya are the only highlight of the film ( songs aside - which pretty much was romance induced) ..., the rest is very passable, the Villan sucks and Nayanthara manages to remain fat and stupid through out the film !

As for DVD - how come VGP manages to snag some important films - is this another case of VGP releasing the DVD first followed closely by Ayngaran ??

VGP were the Ayngaran of the VHS days, weren't they? Most of the Tamil VHS tapes I've rented/bought were by them.

I believe Ayngaran only has the UK rights to Aa Aah, while VGP is the rest of the world.

Finally i agree with dvdisoil on something....100 % agree with his op abt the movie. Movie gave me a headache. I wouldn't have minded so much if the movie was just a scene to scene copy of memento.

The director doesn't really know the art of coherent direction....things just kept coming in randomnly....I don't know why it is a hit.
Same for his other movie with Vijayakanth. Baring a few interesting moments, the direction is way off.

Bug guess what, its a success. So to make a successful movie one has to throw away his 7th sense.

BTW anyone saw Aayul Regai (what ?). Its an exact copy of 6th Sense.

It seems like most ppl enjoyed only those parts. At least you didn't waste $10
like me. I wouldn't have disliked it this much, if I just saw it in DVD/VHS.

They're still around.

FYI, if you watch the Pyramid DVD of Karnan, behind the Pyramid logo one of the corners you can see the VGP logo
