I just saw the movie (the DVD is pretty good, though there are basically no special features [barring the "music release"]). Really, Amitabh Bachchan and a few songs (mainly, the holi one) (and, to an extent, Bhumika Chawla) are the only redeeming qualities. The love story is trite and just boring, and the performances, though not altogether bad, aren't all that interesting. Furthermore, the girl's father and the guy's mother (the latter played by Revathy), are lunatics. It's like a 2-out-of-5 movie.

I would recommend watching this film for just 2 reasons of mine:

1. Breath taking cinematography by one and only BINOD PARDHAN.

2. Humming soulful music by S E L>


*** Others..How Goras can be more conservative than Desis.
How Desi directors make their characters so streotypical Desi(old time) alike..it is amazing to see them think, feel, talk and act like Desis but only in English speaking format.
Imho, Goras acted better than Desi actors in this film..
