I've been wanting to see Benazir for ages! This is great news even if it is a Baba release. Do you know if they have omproved on their quality at all? The covers lokk a lot better than the normal stuff from Baba. Hope that they are cleaning up their act. Thanks DU - expect an order from me soon!

Was it produced by Bimal Roy??

Anyway, it's a film adoptation of a famous classic novel, perhaps of the same name, by ?? Sharat Chandra, Munshi Prem Chand or ??

Of course it's about "Usne Kaha Tha" i.e. "She had said this and that's why-(story plot/ complications) ".

Any one remembers further details of the plot/ origin.

It must have had a few famous songs. Which ones??

Not really. Check it out. Picture looked very dull in my 27 inch tv also. I think a bit more contrast would have improved the PQ

I've had BENAZIR for a few years now, but from a different company called Digital Video. The cover art is different and the pq a little sharper than the ones posted here, but it still sucks! I'll post SS in a while , busy at the moment.
