It was earlier rumoured that John Abraham would play a small but important role in Karan Johar's new film 'Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna' .But it is Arjun Rampal who has reportedly bagged the role in the prestigious film starring Amitabh Bachchan , Shah Rukh Khan , Rani Mukerji , Preity Zinta and Abhishek Bachchan .The ambitious film is scheduled to go before the cameras after a couple of months .

**I thought Johar camp slated John as Kick A** actor! May be he did not Kiss their A****

After such a superb performance against Bacchan Jr in Dhoom and Bacchan Sr in Aet4ebar I beleive the Bacchans has a lot to do with it.I have heard that John was rteplaced by Hritik Roshan in Dhoom 2..

But mind you I was not impressed with him in KAAL! Lets leave Vivik dud aside!

I don't know what people have against Abhishek. I think his performance in Refugee was adequate for an entry film.

Naach, well, Naach was just fantastic start to finish, Abhishek, Antra, Music et al. I was on the edge of my seat the entire film, start to finish!! I guess you have to watch it at the theater, sweetfriend.

Abhishek Bachchan is in the industry for one and one reason only, his father. The fact is if it were not for Amitabh bewing his father Abhishek would not have even gotten a break forget about the looooong list of 'A' setup films which by the way are all flops, Dhoom being the first hit and it too was a multi starrer. If you were to give any Tom Dick or Harry as many opportunituies as Abhishek has gotten, specially with such big names in the industry, ultimately at some point success is a given. In fact, if Amitabh's own career had not taken an upswing due to 'Kaun Banega Crorepati', even then Abhishek probably would not have gotten even half as many opportunities as he has gotten, and whatever opportunities he would have gotten would have also been only in 'B' setups and his career would have been long over. By the way Abhishek totally sucked in Refugee, atleast that is my opinion.
