Movie: Aa Naluguru(Those Four People)

This new Telugu movie not only got great reviews and won several awards but also was successful commercially!

The DVD is made by MovieTime Video who are known to make worse of the worst DVDs. But thankfully, they did a good job with this DVD. Authored by Prasad (telecined elsewhere). Had they avoided DTS, the picture would have had less grain. Still, this DVD is better than many new Tamil and Hindi DVDs.

It has subtitles, Anamorphic Video, and very good 5.1 audio. The story line is very unique. I suggest you watch the movie without trying to know anything about storyline as it will be more interesting.

For those who like to know the synopsis, u can check here http://www.idreamdvd.com/telproduct.asp?pID=1025

is revathy in this movie? i don't see her on the cover anywhere.

good to know it has English subs! :)

I just watched half of Ranjendra Prasad's Appa Rao Driving School. the funniest line is when Rajendra Prasad say's that his father is "Appula Appa Rao" :D that movie is terrible though :( I miss his OLD comedy gems! but from the hype of "Aa Naluguru" - it doesn't seem like its a typical Ranjendra Prasad film :)

Not the Revathi we know off! It's the name of Rajendra Prasad's cute daughter in this movie. She has similarities to Genelia in smile and eyes!

Yes Pav.. Rajendra Prasad, once in a while does experiment with off beat and serious films. You may remember in the 1990;s he made a film called "Erra Mandaram" ??... One telugu actor who is highly underrated. I wish, more telugu directors could utilize his talents...

Kits "telecined" elsewhere = not progressive ?

Pav for you :- "Ni intiko vocchesi woh rendu kottesta, vo rendu kottesi vo guddu pettesta, vo guddu pettesti vo muddu pettesta"... From your fav Rajendra Prasad film "Teneteega"... :D

not progressive! A PAL to NTSC conversion!

The movie does not have much repeat value for me. But it's a great movie. Rajendra Prasad excelled in his role. I am sure no other telugu actor could have done it even half as good as he did!

Kits, does sknath come with English Subtitles? Em vaaguthunnadu anna garu?

j/k. one of my fav raj movies is Pekata Papa Rao. the dvd was royally screwed by SVE with a VHS transfer. Hell, I have had a better VHS copy than this DVD. someone accidentally recorded over half of the movie :( anyway, this movie is a LAUGH RIOT, start to finish! I also like Rajendrudu Gajendrudu, Valu Jada Tholu Beltu, Ladies Tailor (though not a laugh riot, good in it's own way).

I'm afraid I haven't seen Teneteega yet :( Anyway, what is that Rajendra Prasad movie where Bramhanandam goes crazy every time he hears Train motion? i like that one too :P
