Ignorance is not Bliss

Albeit its not for everyone and is acquired taste but people who are into Avant-Garde films (a.k.a the purest of all cinema ) know what to expect. Criterion collection's "By Brakahge - An Anthology" is one of my priced possessions.

Colorado University ( Boulder) regularly shows his works and I try my best to sneak into some of them. Though still a novice at art appreciation I completely enjoy these kind films (with an explanation of course). This post was meant to share my "astonishment" at the different film movements in India, especially since this comes from a land where "critics" refer to "Black", "Meenaxi" , "Pushpak" as Avant-Garde films !

Hopefully there are some on this board who will be interested to "know" and will find this important/necessary and will be pleasantly surprised at this exhibit.
