The #1 Actor Is ShahRukh, Basically because Shahrukh has made more hits than Hrithik has made movies, And ShahRukh has the right amoout of thumbs

There is no substance in this question, it doesn't make any sense. Hrithik Roshan still has a long way to go. He's been in the industry about 2 years. Whereas, Shah Rukh Khan has been for about 10 years. Shah Rukh Khan is almost a self-made star/hero. Hrithik Roshan had a big push from his father. Evidently, the acting talent of Shah Rukh Khan is far superior than Hrithik Roshan's. However, the only area which Hrithik dominates that not even Shah Rukh Khan is half as good as is dancing, Hrithik Roshan is by far the best bollywood dancer I've seen in reccent times. When you compare both of them dancing side by side in K3G to the song "bola Cudiyan", SRK looked slow compared to the dancing energy of Hrithik Roshan. But one thing Hrithik Roshan did that SRK could not do, was that Hrithik Roshan gave 2 wonderful performances in his 2 & 3 film (Fiza & Mission Kashmir). In K3G, I thought both actors very much complemented each other with their onscreen presence, I would like to see them work together again in the future.

Umm, sorry, but I think Aamir Khan tops them both. Whereas I agree Hrithik has dancing talent, and I did enjoy Shah Rukh's performances in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Dil Se.., Aamir has consistently had strong performances that seem to get better with each film. Unlike the previous two, he doesn't find the need to become melodramatic to emote; it's more about the subtlety of his performance that makes it so wonderful. And he plays every type of role very well whether it be comic, love-struck, or dramatic (especially the darker shade as in 1947 Earth).

Easy SRK wins

IMHO, I think both of them are irritating.

I "used to" hate SRK's cliche acts till I got bored of Hritik. When Hrithik made his gala debut, I thought here is one man whom I just cant get bored watching of.

But I am already sick of his (Hrithik's) cliche and girlie expressions and dances. Some britisher, during the making of K3G mentioned that he looks girlish... actually at times he does.

So now that I keep seniority in mind and that I have seen the highly pathetic K3G and compared the two, I would say SRK is better amongst the two. As SRK was less irritating than Hritik.

Sorry if I have offended any diehard SRK or HK fans.. but I would second that Aamir Khan fan.. anytime

Different classes remind me of fools comparing Sachin and Bradman for all these years. Just can't man. They both are number ones in their own classes. Forbid the digression anyway.

Hrithik stepped in movies just the other day. So he isn't suitable for such comparison. He is doing great at the level he is in.

Shah Rukh was the very unique and the best when he started. I like his earlier films rather than the films that are coming today with Yash. I remember his quotes in one of the 'movie' magazine that he doesn't like the antivillain roles at the time when he DDLJ was running in cinema.

I agree with him, he doesn't suit a hero role. Movies like baazigar, darr, anjaam, kabhi haan kabhi naa, deewana .. those movies really suited his look and tone of his voice, and the TALENt of his acting.

AFTER DDLJ, every movies he has acted, the scenes, the theme has been so redundant, and so repeating.. Annoys the hell out of me. i wish the k-k-k-k-k-k kiran shahrukh returns.

Bottom line, in this comparison both New Hrithik, and only old (K-k-k-kiran) Shahrukh is what i prefer!!!

but I'm pretty sure I typed it correctly..everyone else you read the thread can back me up here...did I not ask...who do you like better ..SHAHRUKH KHAN or HRITHIK ROSHAN? Did anyone see Aamir Khan in that statement....or Big B for that matter..oh...me neither... :vangry:

i dont think it is fair to compare an actor who has only been in the industry 2 years and another one who has been there over 10 years... just like no-one would compare shahrukh and amitabh cos they belong to different generations altogether... shahrukh should probably be compared to his generation of actors and hrithik to his generation like abhishek, karan nath , tushhar etc... ofcourse hrithik easily tops his generation but the same probably cannot be said abt shahrukh..
anyway not diverting from the thread topic... i guess shahrukh based on his experience and diverse roles will be my choice...

Comparing Shah Rukh to Hrithik is rather a joke to me, It's a superstitious build up comparision. Shah Rukh should be compared to someone like Aamir Khan. But than again, realistically, Aamir Khan easily wins in my opinion.

I prefer Mr. Roshan, by far.

SRK is betta...though i gotta admit Hrithik handled the emotional scenes in K3G very well and very much handled his own, in front of two superstars!

SRK is class in all areas, action(Ram-Jaane, Karan Arjun), comedy(Baadshah, Duplicate), romance(DDLJ, KKHH, DTPH) and his best.........THE PYSCHOPATH (Darr, Baazigar)

We are yet to see HR in comedy role!
So we'll have to see.......but HR does have great potential!
