Any Idea, why am I connecting/ comparing them??

Taxi-Dhoom

I was surprised to see how similar was Taxi to Dhoom. Another surprise was how come Dhoom came out 6 weeks ahead of Taxi.
Then found this short review:

One thing for sure, Taxi is a riot. Those who didn't like Dhoom, will like fun film Taxi. Those who liked Dhoom, the'll like Taxi even more.

It is pathetic that for how besharmi, gadhvi has remade two hollywood films even translating films titles, MBF's W and Now crappy DUMM!!

Can't say that about Taxi. As I said, whether Dhoom is to your liking or not, you sure will like Taxi.

Any info if JASPAL BHATTI (of Aa AbLaut Chalein) is in Taxi??

In one scene (15 sec) where Q. Latifa goes to get her License, a Sardar Ji is in the line up. He looked like Jaspal Bhatti. Not any substantial role but is not total inaction either, like others in that scene. At least he he's shown to make a facial expression.

The Taxi remake looked absolutely dumb. I can't believe that people paid money to see that.

Uday Chopra = Jimmy Fallon = Dumbasses =

I hope Jimmy Fallon's film career crashes faster than his SNL sketches.

Uday Chopra's role is the same as Queen Latifa's.

It's supposed to be dumb. But, it's fun.
Where else will you see 3 cars going in parallel at speeds of over 120 mph going on the wong side of a busy NY highway while excanging one hostage from car # 1 to # 2 and exchanging ransom money from car # 2 to # 3, all at the same time.



I rather pay $ 10 to see this climax situation instead of going on the wrong side of the highway myself.
