Anu Malik turns DJ for 'Waqt'

Composer Anu Malik will now be seen in a new role, that of a DJ! Yes, the composer will enact the role of a DJ in Vipul Shah's forthcoming film Waqt- A Race Against Time.

Anu will be shooting with Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra for the film this week. “There is a major party song in the film in which I have done the rap. When Vipul Shah heard the song, he told me that he wanted me to be present when the song is being picturized. Since I haven't sung the entire song, I couldn't have appeared as a singer. So he asked me to be a DJ in that song,” says the composer, who has been known for his cameos in Baazigar and Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega in the past.

Anu will also be seen in the role of a pandit in Gurinder Chadha's Bride And Prejudice. He is also looking forward to the release of the music of Anil Sharma's Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo early next month. Indiafm
