Govind Nihalani´s Amitabh , Om Puri , Fardeen and Kareena starrer ´Dev´ , which releases this Friday , will have all the songs in the background .

According to the director of the film Govind Nihalani , " I had initially toyed with the idea of making a songless film but after an evening with music director Aadesh Srivastav , I decided to include a song as he came up with a tune that appealed to me immensely and it fitted the situation perfectly . After two weeks he came up with a refrain which also appealed . So I had a meeting with Nida Fazli who wrote the lyrics . All the songs in the film were created likewise ."
