just out of curiousity.....whats the sound like in the tips dvd compared to the sound on the r4 dvd?

It's already avail in Australia. My friend, in US, got it in his hand. I understand, vjmajic2002 has it too.

vjmajic2002, I'm talking of your Australian edition. I guess, Australia is Region 4??
I don't know yet, whether this DVD release is limited to play only in R4 DVD players. Anyway, DVD enthusiasts know how to bypass Region barriers.

yep r4 is australian...i think its r0 though..i cant remember...
anyway..i was just wondering since i have not seen the tips dvd..if the sound was any good on that..maybe it might be worth ripping the audio from that and putting it onto the australian release..

Only professionals will be able to do that. Remember Australian Kaante DVD, most likely runs 4% faster than it's NTSC counterpart.

If professionals attempt this audio dub with speed adjustment, they may as well redo both audio and video from film print.

and Rana!! Might be FUNNY but his HEARSAY is always CREDIBLE some how! Never underestimate power of information technology! LOL

It is PAL /R0, Sound does not suit stature of this MOVIE, nor FRAMING!

But it is INDEED PROG 24-25 frames/50 fields/sec transfer!

I dont think, there will be any thing better than this for KAANTE! Rest will be KAANTE no PHOOL!

I expect over the time there might be a PAL to NTSC North American release , may be!!

BTW! This company did release SAATHIYA/MYKSH independently! So, it would be interesting to see if those are BRAND NEW PROPER TRANSFERS! :roll:

i wud post screenshots.. but i seriously dont get the time... anyway, its exactly the same as the release which vjmajic posted ages ago.. same menu and same transfer...

however i think (well hope) that there will be a pal r2 release for the UK market... a bit like asoka which will have 5.1.. wishful thinking heh!!

so i guess we can be excused, but this dvbd has set the record for WORST SOUND FOR NEW FILM! IT IS DAMN NOT DIGITAL EVEN!

PREVIOUSLY, KHAKEE WON THE AWARD FOR WORST VIDEO FOR NEW FILM..

CO INCIDENCE BOTH START WITH " K"( johar/roshan lucky letter) AND BOTH HAVE BUDHA BACHAN! :wink:
