Did the DVD freeze at any point for anyone? The copy I rented froze a little during Yeh Rishta but it skipped forward a little bit in the song, and I could watch the rest of the film without any problem.

It's more goldish than any of the recent Indian DVDs. Calling old time DEI DVDs 100% Gold, recent ones from 0 to 30% Gold, Meenaxi is 40-50% Gold.

MEENAXI DISC is a BIT more YELLOWER than KMG( that I thought was REALLY BAD) so, If KMG is X%, in ur eyes! add 5-10% more (subjective), and There u go, u got Y% meenaxi!! LOL..

Hmm...the copy I rented didn't appear to have any gold hue to it at all. And it did freeze a bit at one point. Does the original have a hologram at the bottom left corner of the cover like my rental did? I might have to look at the copies at a few other stores to see if there's any difference.

Same with my DVD copy there is no gold on the disc.. It is 100% silver in color. I also found that the DVD for Meenaxi were replicated by some company in New York. Just flip your DVD over with the artwork facing down it has something printed on the disc (Lo meenaxi xxx NY USA) there may be more written can't recall exactly what was written. I'll be watching my DVD of Meenaxi tonight will let u know if it freezes at any point.

Regarding pirated DVDs of Meenaxi it is a rumor have not come across any pirated DVDs of it yet. I also booked my copy on the day it came out. After I watch Meenaxi tonight will double check the disc to see if there is any goldish look to it.

Finally got around to watch the dvd. I must say Meenaxi is way better than Hussain's last outing with Madhuri. Tabu and the rest of the actors are fantastic. ARR's songs are picturised beautifully by Santosh Sivan. The sound design is also superb. The PQ and SQ is better than the usual bollywood dvd. The making of feature isn't bad either.

I also just finished watching Meenaxi and the PQ was for sure above average for a Bollywood Movie. The colors were Vibrant through out the movie, watched the movie on my Sony 57inch hdtv. Actually the entire movie was sharp with out any pixeling. The SQ was also very good sounded really good via my JBL sound system.

Also the DVD did not freeze at any point when I watched the movie.

Hi zulmis,
To all those who love or Hate BEI. Today I received my replacement of faulty dvds. I didn't get a copy of Adalat as they said they dont have it now and will send it when they have. While I got the copy for the other two of them (Golmaal, Nastik).
"Thanx to BEI"

Now to all BEI haters  - how many of the companies are ready to replace there faulty dvds, without asking a lot of questions (as Yashraj does and EROS never replaces while the rest are sleeping under there promoters money)?

After watching Meenaxi on my sony widescreen tv last night, I happen to watch a song from the Meenaxi DVD on my 4:3 TV. I was surprised that the DVD was authored with both 4:3 and 16:9 video. For those people who don't have widescreen tvs, they will enjoy being able to watch Meenaxi in full screen with out black bars on a 4:3 TV.

Which company authored the DVD?
