I'll add one surprise name, I'm sure no one will think of.

It's famous film actress Sadhna.

She directed 'Geeta Mera Naam' in competition with Shammi Kapoor who ditrected 'MANORANJAN'.

After both films released, comments were:

So, it proves that RK Nayyar is a better director than Shammi Kapoor as Manoranjan was a total disaster at Box Office. :D

GEETA MERA NAAM was directed by RK Nayyar, Sadhana's to-be-husband...unless you are saying that it was ghost directed by Sadhana

Simi Garewal - RUKHSAT
Hema Malini - DIL AASHNA HAI
Suhasini Mani Ratnam - INDIRA(in Tamil)

Also Aruna Raje directed SHAQUE with ex-husband Vikas Desai as Aruna-Vikas. They also directed GEHRAYEE. She directed RIHAEE alone as well as her recent movie with Koirala that bombed at the box office.

Officially, Sadhna is credited with the direction. RK Nayyar and Sadhna were already married at that time. It's well known that real director was RK Nayyar, but un-officially.

I did not know that she was officially credited for her non-efforts :-) In all references to GEETA MERA NAAM, RK Nayyar is referred (in my reading at least). But thanks. Newer trivia for my database !
