PS: Have had the pleasure of interacting with him on a Sulekha article comments section....he really does know his stuff....one of the few contemporary writers whose talent I so envy !!

From TYREWALA! I had been DISCOUNTING the GUY! esp when I saw him CHOSEN for PERIOD FILM like ASOKA!

Well you have to look at his work in its entirety....he was perhaps not the best man for ASOKA's dialogues....but his lyrics for "LOVE KE LIYE...." were not too bad....his work with "MUNNABHAI...." was pretty decent, as was the episode he wrote for DARNA MANA HAI and the fact that he got to write MAQBOOL (which I have not seen yet) is enough to convince me he is right there as far as the neo generation of writers is concerned....if you want further proof of his writing skills (quite original and whacky mind you) check out his author's page on Sulekha.com....tell me if you come away unimpressed !!

I am NOW impressed with his work/credentials..even if he is a YOUNG/GANJA TYREWALA!
