I FINALLY tracked down the DEI/EROS PLATINUM Edition as shown in this topic, but the guy is asking me 15$. Its the version he has had, its not new, and is definitely used looking at the cover and inside of the disc. Is it still worth it. I have the first version of DEI/EROS DIL SE, but I got that from cdstore.pk. It is definitely a copy, and also freezes at certain points.
Anyone have any opinions.!!!!

Just check if it's on old time Gold Media. If it is, grab it. DEI label and Gold media, You found the Time Machine.

It is gold media. It's the orginal one, with the PLATINUM sticker as shown in this post, the only drawback is that it is used.
Although, I doubt if I'll find one of these ever again, even if used.

Why would you care if a DVD is used or not!!! GRAB IT!! IT'S RARE and not much of a drawback at all!

That is the same one I have also -bought it used but it has bars on the side as well as on top.Unfortunately I loaned it to an aquaintance whom I may never see again..Am I a loser or what..

The side bars come from the TV for this disc. It is 4:3 letterbox, not enhanced for widescreen TVs, so on widescreen TVs it will have bars on the side unless you stretch or crop the image.

This is how it is encoded on the disc:

This is how it will show up on widescreen TVs:

16:9 enhanced DVD:

Many of the American DVDs released around 1998 when DEI-Eros were together were also like this, although not cropped like DEI-Eros titles.

A few non-anamorphic DVDs off the top of my head that you can rent from any Blockbuster:

Titanic
The Abyss
True Lies
Quiz Show
Pulp Fiction
Office Space
Psycho
Vertigo

Cover says DD 4 Ch but Pwer DVD info shows up as DD 5.1.

probably on 4 channels are active (have sound), maybe the 2 front and 2 rear. And I think the other 2 channels don't have any sound.

This is also seen in the Eros b4u version of Qayamat se qayamat tak
