I watched Tamilini's PITAMAGAN dvd. I thought the movie was good. I really enjoyed Suriya's performance as the con. Vikram's performance was good. But I didn't think it was outstanding may because his character lacked any dialogues. Cinematography was really good. The climax was like typical tamil movie

Video: Presented in 2.35.1 anamorphic widescreen, the video really rocks. The transfer has very good color saturation and sharpness. The grain is no where to be found. 4/5.

Audio: Presented in DTS 5.1 and DD 5.1. There is not much surround activity. But the sound effects during fight scenes really shines. 4/5

Overall a good entertaining Tamil movie with a good dvd! :baaa:

WOW!!! I've just finished watching it now and I'm at a complete loss of words. The movie was depressing, bizarre, violent and not entertaining at all..., yet its one of the most top quality films in all of Indian cinema. None of the reviews for this film will ever prepare anyone for the complete shock of the senses that this movie delivers, especially towards the final scenes of the movie.

Lets just say that if any of u loved Tera Naam (or Sethu), you will absolutely love this movie. I think that Boney Kapoor or whoever should option the remake rights straight away, although I don't really know any actor suitable for Vikram's role. Vikram has probably given the performance of a lifetime and I don't know anybody in Bollywood who would manage to capture the intensity of the character as he did.

WOW WOW WOW... Absolutely AMAZING film!!!

Do urself a favour and watch it

No, as in the hero single handedly beat the shit out of Mr. anti-social element and his goons. :baaa:

the ending is only typical if u watch enough screwed up movies....

If u know this movie is from the director of Sethu, and u follow along with the mood of the movie, you can surely expect that the end will not be a happy one.

However, the ending is still very unusual from the typical Bollywood standards, and even ups to be more of a downer than the Tere Naam/Sethu one.
