Rediff, after placing KHAKEE at # 3 behind Paap and Maqbool, has brought KHAKEE to # 1 again, in it's 3rd week. This tells something about KHAKEE Box Office power. Even though they call it average (it hasn't earned enough to be called HIT), it sure keeps on bringing in revenues and most likely will make it to Hit status by the time its Box Office run ends.

Slow paced, will appeal only a niche audience.

Cast: John Abraham, Udita Goswami, Mohan Agashe Director: Pooja Bhatt Good music and locations.
Poor performances, bad voice modulations.

Cast: Urmila Matondkar, Saif Ali Khan, Seema Biswas Director: Sriram Raghavan Great performances, film shows the darker side of love.
Script is too convenient and does not offer explanations for things like Urmila's competence with a gun, shadowing people and killing.

The sensitive issue of rape is handled tackily.

Cast: Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Preity Zinta, Jaya Bachchan Director: Nikhil Advani Well-written, good direction and performances.
Excessive melodrama and nothing for rural centres.

Plan
Cast: Sanjay Dutt, Dino Morea, Sanjay Suri, Bikram Saluja, Rohit Roy, Mahesh Manjrekar, Priyanka Chopra, Sameera Reddy, Riya Sen, Payal Rohatgi Director: Hriday Shetty Good chemistry between the four boys, great performance from Sanjay Dutt.
Slack in the second half. Once Dutt makes his entry, the others fade into the background.
