Amitabh only for one song!

Believe it or not, Amitabh Bachchan has just one song in Yash Chopra's forthcoming directorial venture releasing this Diwali. The film mainly features Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukherjee and Preity Zinta. Ask Amitabh about why he's been given such a "raw deal", he replies with his endearing wit and humour, "It's the age of these youngsters. They're ruling. We were in their shoes yesterday!"

Apparently, even this film has the cliched Indo-Pak issue in it (considering it is shot on the Wagah border) but knowing Yash Chopra, we're sure (or hope) that he'll treat it both subtly and differently!

I sure hope this guy used "subtly and differently" in an ironic manner. Most likely we'll get Mere Dushman Ki Shaadi Hai :rolleyes:

I heard this movie is about the Swiss-Austrian dispute, with Chopra shooting this on the Swiss-Austrian border. It is a love story between an Austrian boy (SRK) and a Swiss girl (Preity). Big B plays a corrupt canton leader who is Preity's father, and peddles fake Riccola cough drops. SRK plays the brutish and uncivilized Austrian. What asked why Indian audiences would be interested in the Swiss-Austrian dispute, Chopra replied, "I've shot for so many years in Switzerland, I might as well bring light to a feud that gets little attention in India."
