LOL! Lord knows why I put Mohabbatein, I thought that the DVD was a pretty good transfer! I was probably thinking about it and wrote it down by accident, SORRY! Anyway, I wonder why Urbanlegend still hasn't gotten the screenshots up yet...

From the screen shots, that seem to be in Force Weave, it's evident it's Pseudo-Progressive and not Progressive as Sunnyaudit claimed it to be.

It's direct Film to NTSC telecine though. But, repeat field info is not made use of in DVD encoding, thus wasting 25% of disc space.

Still lot better than run of the mill 'Film to PAL to NTSC' transfers that are norm these days for Indian DVDs.

From seeing the screen shots the DVD of Kal Ho Naa Ho looks really good and it is for sure miles ahead of any of the crap Eros , Rainbow, and Spark/Soven release on DVD these days. So stop complaining its not like Yashrajfilms released Kal Ho Naa Ho with a crap transfer with dull colors and etc (DDLJ). The Mohabbatein DVD was just plain awful anyone who thinks this DVD is the same quality or worse then Mohabbatein should have there head checked...

I feel alot better giving my two cents on this DVD.

It does look more vibrant than Eros, Spark, Video Sound, etc. DVDs, but this shot looks very soft. That looks like it is supposed to be a mosaic tile floor but I could barely make out any detail. Also look at the edge enhancement, particularly on the border between the image and the letterboxing.

THIS DVD(RENTAL COPY) is WORSE than even KMG, YRF making PROGRESS!! stationary scenes close ups, looks fine, with good detail, as they r PLAGUED with MAHA EE..rest ladden with jaggies, pixelated, and God knows or only PROS know what kinda artifacts!!

WAIT, till u hear A VERDICT from ONE AND ONLY MHAFNER the GREAT!!!

****SHAME on YRF! :angry: :bash: :devil: :stupid: :ffs: :bangbang: :nopity: :fight:

WITH ACHING HEART! I'll recommend FANS of KHNH to get their COPIES from KAALA BAZAAR!! via izzy etc, for <$6 a piece?? :baaa:
