Check it out..It is pretty GOOD!! He delievres again, after RULES!!

***Singing by Sunidhi mostly, imho, pales as compare to her singing in SUR!!..

Sandhliya's compositions, not as soulful as AGNI VARSHA, not like RULES, more contemporary but still pretty darn good!!

I like it. The songs have a mellow, jazzy tone. Half the tracks are repeat versions, though, so I wonder if the songs will be in the background and not lip-synched.

Indian pretty girl enters the Bollywood arena. A Pritish Nandy Communications presents Kareena Kapoor playing the lead role of 'Chameli'. In a marquee of night culture films 'Chameli' is a new entrant. With the success of films like 'Chandni Bar', 'Chameli' seems to be a new success mantra. Kareena Kapoor and Rahul Bose are playing the lead roles. Rahul Bose's last release 'Ek Din - 24 Ghante' was a complete washout. So he gropes for a big bang at the box-office. Kareena with strings of flops including 'Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon', makes a bold attempt to rejuvenate her sagging career. Sudhir Mishra directs a film, which is based on the lifestyles of sex workers based in red light area. Sudhir Mishra's earlier directorial venture 'Is Raat Ki Subah Nahi' was based on one night happenings. He he tries to recreate the same magic in 'Chameli' which is based on one night stand between the suave socialite (Rahul Bose) and a prostitute (Kareena Kapoor). All songs are recorded, mixed and mastered by Ashish Manchanda (A Flying Carpet Productions). Original soundtracks of film are on T-Series.

'Chameli's dreamy musical flight begins with 'Bhaage Re Mann', a beautiful melodious composition sung brilliantly by Sunidhi Chauhan. Sunidhi proves her mettle in a romantic solo composition, which is well written by Irshad Kamil. Irshad surprises with his creative genius. The song is a journey into the heart of a woman; Sunidhi's vocal qualities add value to the song. A must hear for sentimental ears.

'Jaane Kyun' is a melodious romantic duet sung delightfully by Udit Narayan and Sunidhi Chauhan. Udit's voice sprinkles serenity in the air. He proves his vocal qualities with a touch of western music mellifluously rendered by Sandesh Shandilya. It reminds of one of Archies' hinglish compositions.

'Sajna Ve Sajna' is nightclub song sung by Sunidhi Chauhan. The song is picturised on Kareena and others, singing and dancing in a beer bar. Irshad Kamil's lyrics are wonderful. The song gets repeated in the album.

'Soul of Chameli' is saxophone presentation by Tala. It has the signature tune of the film blended with the instrumental genius of saxophone. Kenny's magical genius seems to be the inspiration in the 'Soul of Chameli'.

Sunidhi Chauhan spells magic in soulful sentimental song 'Jaane Kyun Humko'. Sunidhi croons like Whitney Houston, intoxicating passion in the air. The song seems to be inspired from Whitney's all- time hit 'My Heart Will Go On'. Irshad Kamil's lyrics are impressive.

'Yeh Lamha' is another magical soulful sentimental by Sunidhi Chauhan. Prof R.N.Dubey renders lyrics. Sunidhi's sultry voice creates sensuousness in the air.

'Bhighi Hui Koi' is a westernized romantic duet sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and Javed Ali. Sunidhi's seductive voice blended with Javed Ali's fresh voice cast a spell.

Sandesh Shandilya has done a splendid job by rendering one of the finest compositions of his lifetime. Shandilya's music is blended with the affluence of instrumental brilliance. Extraordinary saxophone is performed by Tala, which is evident in the 'Soul of Chameli'. Sunidhi Chauhan outshines in the album. Compositions like 'Bhaage Re Mann' and 'Jaane Kyun Humko' will be remembered for a long time. Sandesh Shandilya impresses but is highly influenced by western music.
