'Charlie's Angels' – The desi version

We've seen Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu set the screen ablaze in CHARLIE'S ANGELS. We've also seen the three investigative agents battle it out with Demi Moore. Now, watch Dia Mirza, Amrita Arora and Perizaad Zorabian as the three angels, battling Payal Rohatgi in director Shrey Shrivastav's new film, to be produced by Ajay Dwivedi.

Giving company to the angels in the desi version will be Sanjay Kapoor, Arbaaz Khan and Karan Nath, while Sonali Kulkarni will enact the role of a cop. The film, all set to roll on December 12 with a month-long schedule, will have music by Nikhil-Vinay.

Meanwhile, Shrey Srivastav's directorial debut INSAAF – THE JUSTICE [Dino Morea, Sanjay Suri, Namrata Shirodkar] is expected to hit the screens in January 2004.

The Tamil version, "3 Roses," with Rambha, Laila, and Jyothika, is out already. At least this Hindi version uses girls who are more fit :)

Well, I remember reading a while back about a desi version of Charlie's Angels with Sushmita Sen, Raveena Tandon, and Shilpa Shetty. Weird.

While I would love to see these actresses on screen, why does it have to be in a hollywood copy? Just another instance of Bollywood copying Hollywood...haven't we seen enough of this sh*t?

Especially when Charlies Angels movies are sh!t to begin with... :baaa: Bollywood copying Hollywood crap will only result in pure crappy movie with songs in it!! :baaa: :bangbang:

Wasnt the first ever copy of Charlie's Angels the one directed by Umesh Mehra - ASHANTI...it had Zeenat Aman, Parveen Babi & Shabana Azmi as the angels and Rajesh Khanna playing their Charlie.....i believe it also had Kanwaljeet Singh as one of the girls' beau that gets bumped off.....
