click for larger view Sanjay Dutt has signed his first movie with Yashraj Films in 23 years of his acting career. "It is not a romantic film but a thriller. Although, I would love to do a romantic movie, no one offers me one today," he quips. Sanjay cannot afford to knock at the producers' doors for work. "I can't go to people's office asking for roles. Besides, if you look at my films, I have always worked with people I am comfortable with and most of them are my friends", he adds.
Since Sanjay Gadhvi will direct the film, Dutt will work with yet another newcomer. "I have always worked with newcomers. 'Munnabhai MBBS' has Raju Hirani making his debut. There is Hriday Shetty who makes his entry into direction with 'Plan', and I am also working with Milan Luthria who is a very talented director," he further said. Sanjay Gadhvi belonging to the Aditya Chopras clams to have seen 'DDLJ' at least 200 times and made his debut with 'Tere Liye'. Later, he directed 'Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi'. Besides, he has also offered Abhishek Bachchan one of the main leads in the film. If Abhishek accepts the offer, then Sanjay and Abhishek will have at least four movies together like JP Dutta's 'LoC', Rajkumar Santoshi's untitled film and Mani Shankar's 'Vande Mataram'.
