I got a chance to pick this up, and I think that quality is quite good. In fact, it's better than any other song dvd I've ever seen. DEI has made a great 2-dvd set (now if only there were a few better songs)

My question is: why don't they make more of these? Eros pushes them out consantly, and they usually suck. I always buy official dvds, but with song dvds, I buy pirate, only because of the larger amount of songs you get, and, usually, the quality trade-off is worth it. But if DEI put out more stuff like Mission Bollywood, I wouldn't buy pirate song dvds either.

A bit of a rubbish reply but I totally agree with you. The DVD was of very good quality and as you said if only it had a small selection og good films songs.

I think it is the best looking song DVD period. A close second is Too hot to handle and I am waiting to grab any more song DVD’s from DEI.
But as a matter of fact DEI does not have the rights of most of the good movies to produce songs on DVD. Unless they gets them from VideoSound or EroS.

DEI’s latest song DVD was Down Memory Lane. With that DVD, they had included all the songs from all of their films to that time, in one DVD or another. I am sure when they have enough ‘unreleased on song DVD’ songs from their since released films, they will bring out another song DVD.

Other song DVDs from DEI worth considering are the EROS-DEI song DVDs if you can find them. Example:
Best of the Khans
EROS Dance Dhamaka Vol 1, Vol 2
Shahrukh Dhamaka
1999 Hits
A few other titles, which I can’t remember but they all were excellent DVDs.

A few months back, I think, Torontoguy who is in Distribution business himself, had stated a rule used by the Indian DVD industry that it is legit for any one to include any song in any song DVD, whether they have the movie rights or not. If so, I wonder if DEI can release more song DVDs from other labels; at least the ones known as DEI-EROS label.
