The DVD should be:
1) Original Aspect Ratio
2) Anamorphically enhanced for 16:9
3) Progressive
4) Original Sound Format (no Pseudo stuff even if it is only Mono)
5) Dolby Digital 5.1 sound when the original format is 5.1

what does this all mean can you please explain, sorry but i am kind of ignorant when it comes to dvds?

I am making a custom song dvd, so i am taking the vob files of the dvds and converting them to mpeg-2 video and for the audio i just convert the wav files to dolbly digital 5.1 ac3 files.
