I was banned from there just b.c i was a desi guy

i never knewed racism existed on the net :(

this is a bad day for the net and for bollywood fans all over the world i think that site may actually be run by nazis or nazi sympathizers etc i dont know

I don't think it's racist. it's a site aimed at bollywood fans or those who are new to bollywood who are not of an indian background or don't understand Hindi.
I guess it's for people who want to know more about bollywood but don't know where to start. Most bollywood sites are for fans familiar with the genre.
This site is quite critical of bollywood (e.g. the underworld connection) and the attitude of it's actors...(and quite rightly too).

There are quite a few desis in the forum. What makes you think they are racist?

First I would like to ask how many desi guys post there on a regular basis??

The desi guy is excluded from all discussions I am sure you will find.

What did you do to upset them so much?

That site is really for people who know very little about bollywood or indian cinema but have recently 'discovered' it...mainly non-indians. I don't think they want people who know their stuff on Bollywood cos it may show them up. Most people on that site have only seen the commercialised big-budgeted glossy lovey-dovey stories mainly from yash raj in recent years. It's a weird site, most seem to be female and they all seem to love SRK...so I take it they must be new to b'wood. They're still kiddies!

According to this thread there are some Indians but most tend to be persian/iranian, algerian, europeans and americans.
