the videostore i go to now has dramas such as Kuyki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahoo Thi, Kasuti Zindagi Ki, Astitva Ek Prem Kahani, Kkusum, Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, Kumkum Ek Paayra Sa Bandan, Desh Mein Nickla Hoga Chand, Kuyn Hota Hai Pyaar, and many others including pakistani dramas. The print and sound are extreamly better than those stupid videos. So has this started in other places in Canada, U.K., America, etc...

:sus: at 99.9% over 50 tapes .. bloody hell!! id lose interest after the fist 5 or 6... anyway majority of the Pakistani Dramas are no longer thant 6 VHS movies long... I wud certainly recommend u watching them.. this isnt a racist comment at all, but they are seriously waaaaaaaay better than the over emotional crap you get on Zee TV or Sony....

Some good ones to watch are:

Chandni Raatein 2 DVDs available at pakwebstore
Mehdni 3 DVDs.. at pakwebstore again.. its awesome this drama is..
Rabia Zinda Raheegee.. 4 or 5 VHS

or some classics:

Akhar.. 2 VHS cassettes.. its in punjabi tho
Khwaja and son.. 2 VHS... awesome Dramas.. ive converted this to DVD if ure interested!!
Hawaaiyen.. 4 VHS... wicked drama!!

astitva is at 17 dvds right now and is still going on. btw, my mom said it is a really good drama. the only thing i know is that it is about a photograher married to a docter and cheating on his wife with a model.

My favorite of all time (well, one year of watching indian dramas) is Gharana. None of the other ones have come close.

I agree totally.......Telewest have just got together an Asian package, so we have about 5 Asian channels now including Zee, Sony and Star Plus......and most of the dramas on these channels are unbearable!!!!! Urdu dramas rule!!! To add to Faddy's list, one's worth watching:

Tum Hi To Ho (this drama rocks)
Tanhaiyan
Dhoop Kinare
