Why are you guys so bent out of shape here? These screen shots are ok, nothing more. Miles away from a good DVD.
They are all soft and lack detail. Colors are muted.

Tera Chehra - Adnan Sami T-Series Release

Ripped from Panasonic RP82 and recorded on Panasonic DMR-E50. No PC DVDR(W) used only standalones used to achieve this. Basically it looks like the original!

I just connected my Panasonic RP82 via S-Video to the E-50 and recorded at XP (the DVD is only 37 mins and not worth $15 Canadian!). No computer or magic thingy used, only stand alone player/recorder.

Last night I timer recorded Smallville at LP so lets see how that comes out. I recorded another show the other day on DVD-Ram and edited out the commercials via the E-50 and it worked like a charm. Did you try that Faddy Bhai?

I used Memorex DVD-R and while it plays fine on my E-50 and RP82 it pixelated a bit on my old Pioneer DV-414. Played fine on my Sony DVD-Rom as well.

Actually I wish Indian dvds look more like that then the crap that comes out...The source used is very good but of course it is not meant to be put on dvd. It would be out of this world if this kind of source was used and encoded in progressive...Most of the Indian progressive dvds have bad print.

looking at the price of dvd-r drives for the PC I can see that they're falling through the floor at the moment, A05 is available for 130/120 now.....cos of the A06 and due to "lack of compatibility"........should be around £100 very soon.......

DVD-r/+rs are proper dodgy when using media... im kinda lucky seeming my NEC writer record on anything thats thrown at it... but my Panasonic DVD-RAM is a bit dodgy.. accepts some DVD-Rs and others it hates!!

I have used 2 Memorex DVD-Rs so far and they recorded perfectly and play properly on both the recorder and the RP82. On my older Pioneer the Memorex DVD-Rs pixelate after 30mins of watching...maybe its an old player, I dont know :doze:
