This comprises a talented ensemble featuring talented actors from India and USA. "I was always interested in doing films with a difference that are not based on stereotypical subjects and with actors from the mainstream industry. This theme offered me a chance to experiment," says executive producer Prasad.
The story traces the Indian sojourn of an American anthropologist professor Metcalf who had passionately devoted his life to the tantrik science of Bokshu - the transformation of one form to another. Stage actor Steven Berkoff who has been seen in many Hollywood hits such as Rambo and Octopussy has donned this crucial role. "Steven came to know of the subject from a friend of mine in the US who was very close to him and volunteered to play the role. He is one of the most talented actors I have ever worked with," says Dr Prasad.
