I picked up Shaheed Udham Singh DVD, assuming it to be regular DEI/ BEI stuff as it had a small BEI logo. It turned out to be Single Layer disc with bit rate as low as 1.5-2.5 kbps. On the second look I found Appolo (UK address) and BEI labels in the back.

I doubt BEI ever produced any DVD on SL ?? If anyone has orig DEI/ BEI DVD, could you pl check and verify if it's SL or a DL DVD ??

I think, I got a pirate copy. Or may be, Appolo took out this DVD under license from BEI and released a SL copy ??

Any confirmation pl ??

I hesitate to order it off the web, not knowing what will I get ?? A compressed Appolo-BEI copy or a proper DL BEI or BEI-Appolo copy ??

My original DEI dvd suffered the same fate, then I was able to get it replaced from BEI. As far as I know, it was genuine and was working fine. I will check and let you guys know.

Alright. It is original, DL (7.84gb), gold-ish media. I skipped through it, it seems to be working fine.
