Watching Shree 420 makes me wonder, how come these days we do not have such dialogues and stories anymore...
Shree 420 was a powerful social tale embedded with dialogues that really stir ur heart !
An inanimate object (a medal) can evoke such powerful sentiments... well thats only evident from this dialogue :-
Nargis :- Main Vidya Bechne Aayi hoon
Raj Kapoor :- Kamaal hai... tum Vidya bechne aayi ho aur main Imaan khareedne aaya hoon ! (i.e he wants to buy back his medal...)
I think Raj Kapoor was a master of dramatic Irony !... But this wouldn'st have been possible without the dialouges of Late Khwaja Ahmed Abbas ! (One of India's greatest Literary giants !)
One more comment abt this dvd... I noticed the glitch Rana mentioned somewhere... We actually see a part of Gupt in the film  (clearly indicating that this is a replicated DVD..)
