Was Sirf Tum by the same director? I hated that film. It was quite silly.

All songs s BADLY picturized? imho and thrown in the film, SEnseless, songs/comedy and half of the sequences?
I dont understand what goes WRONG in southy directors when they REDIRECT! REMAKES!

Aadha background Southish, aadha northish? damn it!! Just STUPID mixture!!

Na story maen DUM, na screen play maen INTEGRITY, music just wasted!ACting, Simply LOOSE!

Boney Kapoor's SIRF TUM had more SOUL than this DUD!

I don't like the way some south directors force down 'south-indianness' down the audience throat when the film is set somewhere else. Example - take a look at Tabu's costumes, hair full of flowers and large 'pottu' on her forehead in Virasat. What's with that? It's quite unlikely that a girl from a North Indian village was so inspired after watching Rajnikanth films that she went all out to copy that look. This is of course, not to say that all south directors are crappy. After all, Ram Gopal Varma and Maniratnam are 2 of my most respected filmmakers. But really, some of them are terrible!

Sirf Tum was directed by someone else - I think it was Ahathian.

As for south directors, I like a lot of Priyadarshans work as well.

Comparison with SIRF TUM/SHAKTI/JUDAII/KMDSP etc is not for director sake but for Boney Kapoor's produced films sake!!

The Khushi DVD is nowhere to be found nearby! Only the pirate, which looks like an obvious pirate! It has the most cheesiest cover, a green cover, with Fardeen looking at Kareena, and she's looking at the camera. And the picture is lopsided too! Cheesy!

Imagine this with a green background.

Well!! mere humble 2 cents!! Khushi a BIG DUD!

Man! u just see the begining of film and first 2 songs thrown in soon after titles, picturization, camera work, and Yuck! Fardeen/poo in shorts? U can tell, this film is not going to GET UP on its feet! LAME/SOUL LESS affair!

All songs s BADLY picturized? imho and thrown in the film, SEnseless, songs/comedy and half of the sequences?

DVD!! okish EROS affair!! Sound will please some a lot with OVER AGRESSIVE .1..LFE! over bright and Excessive use of SURROUNDS(kabhi khushi kabhi gham) not required for this kinda movie!! But does have a lot of DYNAMICS to Please INFIDELS (who dont believe in purity)

I still prefer Sound Remix like ROAD/SUR were done more appropriately!!

peace!!! Another DISAPPOINTMENT for me after DKR!

i haven't seen Hindi "Kushi" but I am quite 'kushi' with Telugu "Kushi". all i can say for it is that it was sleek!

the songs alone make the movie worthwhile. Telugu version of the movie has the best songs of the 3 langs. all songs picturised well!! I don't think we are talkin about the same Kushi here. looks like I'm goin to have to rent Eros Kushi!

I can hardly wait for Surya's "Naani"(theloogoo) aka "New"(thamizh) which stars Surya himself

Today's TV clip from the DVD shows every 5th field/ frame is repeated field/ frame. Knowing EROS, it may not be Progrssive, but at least its PSEUDO-PROGRESSIVE as opposed to majority of new releases that are Field Averaged. At least the Film to NTSC Cine-tel transfer is not flawed.

Field averaged or not Khushi is not my kinda film for Collection..Simillarly DUM, With GOOD 5.1 sound and GOOD BACKGROUND music, has simillar PQ as KHUSHI, but hell of a STUPID redundant film...Only thing that IMPRESSES u is the BAD GUY POLICE OFFICER, Guy from CHANDANI BAR!!

The film is kinda resemble to SUNNY's ARJUN, that was a lot BETTER FILM wth GOOD MUSIC...AVOID DUM, maen kuch DUM naheen..
