It has been three years since "Kaho Na Pyar Hai" hit the theatres, but the euphoria isn´t over yet. The latest on this blockbuster is that the movie will be dubbed in Spanish and will be released in the Spanish market, including countries like Mexico, Argentina and other Latin-American countries.

The movie has had as much success in the overseas market as the domestic market and Rakesh Roshan himself is said to be confident about the movie doing well in Spanish.

The dubbing sessions for the movie are underway and it is planned for a release sometime later this year.

Hum Aapke Hain Kaun was dubbed into English, and also Spanish IIRC, but I don't know if these versions were ever released.

In "Mexico, Argentina and other Latin-American countries" it may do OK, but It'll never do well in Spain.

Wasnt Té Amo (Maine Pyar Kiya) also released by the Barjatiya's ?.. Any idea how that film fared ?

Dubbing is not that bad an idea.

Movies need not be dubbed for their theatrical releases. As we all know, Video market is much bigger than the Theatrical market. For whatever extra it costs for a high standard translation and dub, Video releases should be able to recover their investments plus profits which are yet to be tapped. It needs to be high quality product, content wise and quality wise, though.
