zulm got me into cricket again.

India; 98 for 3 in 25 overs. Need 226 in 50 overs to win.

Only India can make Kenyaan bowlers look like the Australian attack. The whole approach by Dravid is pathetic, 32 runs off 73 balls against Kenya, that too on a perfect batting wicket.

Another thing, even after what happened to South Africa, the Indians have learnt nothing about keeping pace as per the Duckworth Lewis Calculations. There is a good chance of rain and guess what, at the current rate India loses the match in case rain stops play.

Guess what guys, Dravid out too and not a ball too soon if you ask me. At the rate at which he was scoring we probably would not have reached the target even if we batted thru the 50 overs.

126 for 4 in 34 overs. India is headed for defeat. To avoid defeat, they need to make 6.4 runs per over.

We can still pull this out, or at least I hope so. Our captain is finally showing some sort of form, and Yuvraj continues to impress (they should bring him up to #3).

India's poor display may also have to do with the day/night thing which has really caused problems for the team batting second in this tournament. It's a pity that one of the semis is probably going to be decided by the toss. I just hope India is on the winning side of that toss, or Australia on the losing side. That's probably the only match Australia can lose if they are forced to bat second.

Unfortunately as it stands, and if Australia tops the super six table - they'll be playing in the other semi-final.

India vs Kenya:
I saw score till 11 overs remained. Needed less than a little over 5 runs per over. Score board comes up blank. Looks like match halted.

Too bad I don't remember the score, but it is razor thin difference in scoring rate if that decides the match.

mrig, you beat me to it.

India vs Kenya:

They didn't win barely. They had another 2.5 overs remaining.

They made 100 runs in 13.5 overs. Yuvraj and later Ganguly really were out of control.

Wow.

I could only check ball-by-ball updates as I was at work today. But I am definitely going to catch the replay and the "out of control" batting tonight.

I realized that; just hoping that Australia "lose" to NZ or Kenya in an attempt to keep India out or one of the matches gets rained out. Hey, one can always hope. :nopity:

Going by the way the Indian batting has stood up twice (once to a world class attack) and once to a situation of catastrophic proportions, the only way for us to beat the Aussies is by batting second.....I dont think we have the bowling to take them out when they chase....so it will have to be the other way round.....GO INDIA
