sknath - u kno wat, its nothing to do with cricket or humiliation which pisses me off about u.. u continue to provoke me and u know it pisses me off with whatever u post... i have many indian mates and do spend more time on other forums than zulm that are made up of pakis and indians, and we dont have any grudge against each other.. all we do is pass lighthearted comments about the cricket and other stupid matter... but u continue to provoke and wind me up with ure stupid comments that sometimes i just wanna call u a wanker or a stupid fuk or simply a dumb twat that really does sum up most of ure charactaristics...

I wonder, did the defeat by India really disunite the Pakistan team?

Pak players fight among themselves (indiatimes.com)

REUTERS[ MONDAY, MARCH 03, 2003 05:44:47 PM ]

BULAWAYO: Pakistan players brawled amongst themselves on Monday on the eve of their final World Cup Group A match against Zimbabwe. The incident, which occurred during a football match, was witnessed by reporters and photographers.

Tempers flared when Younis Khan challenged Inzamam-ul-Haq for the ball. The pair squared up and when team mate Saeed Anwar tried to defuse the situation he was pushed to the ground by Inzamam.

Coach Richard Pybus then called off the game and led the players back to the dressing room. They re-emerged 20 minutes later to resume training in the nets, while Inzamam was driven back to the team hotel.

Skipper Waqar Younis said, "It's nothing new. We always have this problem when we play soccer." Asked if any players would face disciplinary action, he replied: "No."

Pakistan must win their game against Zimbabwe to have any chance of staying in the tournament, although even then they are likely to go out on run rate.

Oh no. South Africa is out of world cup. Its always interesting to see the any host country progressing further than the initial stages. Looks like Indias matches are

Mar 7 Vs Kenya
Mar 10 Vs Sri Lanka
Mar 14 Vs Newzealand

Very good chances of reaching the semifinals

There goes my predictions - I think every team I've mentioned I've jinxed :sus: :doze:

With that line up India should go through easily. All I'm asking for now is that Australia play in the second semi final @ Durban (day-night match) - and lose the toss :bash:

For those in North America, did you notice the ad by Indiaweekly? It was the cheesiest :O And, a question on that Hindi ad for New York Life Insurance. Is the girl in that ad Yukta Mookhey (spelling ??)? That long commercial got irritating very quickly.

Uh-oh, I didn't get it either but then the guy saying whatever he was saying wasn't very clear. So, what did the band-aid imply? Thanks so much. :)

It was something to the effect of

"Oh, your one stop shop for all dvds, gifts, sweets etc. is Indiaweekly.com, INDIAWEEKLY.COM" There was a guy sitting in front of a computer saying all this stuff which was said very fast and incoherently. Towards the end, he also said that they do the 10% price match. He had a band-aid on his forehead.

Of course, now Aarkayne says there was some meaning to the band-aid which I did not get at all. So, obviously, I didn't pay that much attention to the ad. Did you not see it in Canada? Our telecast in the US has been on Dish Network.
