Whew! India beats Zimbabwe by 83 runs. Although at the end of the INdian innings it seemed like this would be a tough one, in the end India won quite easily.

Frm the interviews looks like Wright was the one who forced Ganguly to drop down the batting order. He has given numerous interviews where he suggested Sachin and Virender should open

By the way Yuvraj and Kaif have to come back to form for India to have a chance. Looks like a Sri Lanka Vs Australia final to me

Ali, yeah Indian cricket fans get too emotional. But its the same when the team wins - the cricketers are treated like royalty. Cant have one without the other (unfortunately)

Big big matches left, it's all between England, India and Pakistan.

Pakistan need to win three matches to go through to the super six. Assume they'll win against Netherlands & Zimbabwe, which will bring Pakistan to 12 points. Leaves two crunch matches against England or India - they need to win one of them to go trough.

Indian's win against Namibia is also pretty much 'certain', which will also bring them up to 12 points which leaves remaining matches with England and Pakistan. Indian also need to win one of these to go through.

Toughest task is for England :oo: - matches against Pakistan, Indian and then Australia. They need two wins togo through. Its' not going to happen with Australia - so they need to win both India and Pakistan :nervous:

England are struggling with fitness and Nasser Hussain wont play tomorrow. I can see both Pakistan and India going through to super six.

Actually unfortunately for India, rain might rob it of 2 points. It has been raining continuosly since yesterday and the forecast for the next 48 hrs is also not good, therefore it looks like India might end up having to share points with Namibia.
Personally I think this whole situation sucks and it is very unfair to the West Indies also who lost out on 2 points against Bangladesh due to rain. There is actually no reason why the organizers could not have utilized the next day for such situations. As it is there are lots of days in the schedule when there are either no matches or only 1 or 2 matches.

Things are not looking too good for Pakistan right now. After allowing England to get to 246 for 8 they themselves are 23 for 3 right now.

Might have beaten Indias score but still very dissapointing. I support India but I still like to see any team beat the faringhi teams.

About time some one really sorted the Indian and Pakistani players out. I wish Musharef gives them a good thrashing when they get back and confiscates their fancy cars and homes. They have let the country down.

As for the Indians Ganguly is the biggest to$$er ever. He does not have a clue and hates it that Tendulkar is a demi god. I wish that wan$er who is in charge of the Indian Board Dalmiya would funk off out of Indian cricket.

we didn't have the subzero temperatures we practice in?

we were misinformed that cricket was not that different than hockey?

the academy voters are racist?

take your pick...
