Originals of DVDs come out but very soon after the market is flooded with pirate copies of the originals. Sometimes very hard to tell which one is real and which one is fake, while other times its easy to tell by the cover. Either way when you pop the disc in its the same as the original no difference. Well there are some differences:
1. You dont have to pay an arm and a leg for the original .ie ERO$ DEVDAS original is $42 Canadian, YRF LAMHE original is $35 Canadian :O Pirate are usually have that 50%-70% cheaper than originals.
2. Media of the pirate is more than likely better than the original therefore wont screw up after a couple of plays ie. Video Sound DVDs
Now I dont like to promote piracy but regarding Indian DVDs I would have to say I am all for it. Reason being originals they charge so much which dont include proper extras or even a decent print, especially for newly released movies :angry: Now there are some companies that do try to come out with decent product, ie DEI now BEI. Their prints are usually pretty good and sometimes even come out with some good DVDs containing good extras, ie. Hum Saath Saath Hain, Kaho Na Pyar Hai and Hum Dil Chuke Sanam.
English DVDs I only buy originals and dont even bother downloading off the net. They are worth the money but indian DVDs, for me at least and only my 2 cents, are not worth your hard earned money.
