Biggest flaws of Indian movies.

Heroine:

She always comes in first in her class but yet her life’s ambition is to be a house wife.
If she loses her husband, the inlaws invariably kick her out and the only job she can find is either in construction or prostitution (both of them to feed her starving children).
In college she was able to defend herself but yet if her husband is being beaten up, she stands around or shouts help! Help !
She is also the world’s best cook.
Both her parents love her dearly but yet will not welcome her back to their house if she flees her husband’s house (no matter what abuse she had to take).
Her child always kills the abuser and she takes the blame to take a sabbatical only to emerge years later and accidentally bumps into her son who is a stranger to her.

Hero next

Pardesi..again these are IMPLAUSABILITIES... not FLAWS... can you state some obvious flaws in movies ?

"We welcome JOHN RYAN...." (now wasnt that supposed to be Jack Ryan ) ?

SKnath, this isn't a flaw -- Jack is a nickname for John. Why, I dunno, seeing they're the same length to say -- but so it is.

Jack and a nickname for John ? ... I am pretty sure... even the credits at the back of the DVD cover as well as all the trailers leading up to the film... depicts him as Jack ryan ... Only at that instance, did I hear the senate commission chair address him as John Ryan... By what you are saying I can infer that... all the books Tom Clacny has written abt this person.. it was based on his nick name and not his real name ?

Can u explain this paradox ?

I sure can. How many times do you hear the big Hollywood actor referred to as "Thomas Cruise"? Yet Thomas is his legal first name, and would probably be used by a court if he were summoned for legal purposes. In any other context, however, it would seem silly.

If you don't get it now, then you just don't get it, I guess.

We should probably keep this thread to mistakes like continuity errors from now on, such as someone wearing a red striped tie in one shot and then wearing a blue tie in the next shot.

Or for that matter.... Salman having a bear-hair style in one shot and a clean cut hair style in the next style and again re-growing his bear-hair style in the next.. from Andaz Apna Apna !

I would ask ppl to go to Filmfare.com and read the section... Readers speak... there they list a whole list of implausabilities and flaws in recent hindi movies !

Simran..as for you..I stand corrected... but you are also wrong in a way (partially) ....

John Ryan is not Jack Ryan... but John Patrick Ryan is Jack Ryan (... at least thats what listed in Tom Clancy's official home page ) :)

Simran just give up you are dealing with an arrogant self- opionated moron. Look at his earlier posts in this topic. It's a classic case of bullyism and brow beating. An other tread started with good intention and now ending with controversy.
He is the biggest blooper that hit Zulm. Just a friggin' misfit :ffs:

Raveena's hair length also changes in some shots in that film.

in KNPH Hrithik's stubble keeps coming and going when they are marooned on the island.

Another one they showed recently on a B4U filler that in the movie Bombay Arvind Swamy/Manisha Koirala go to a morgue to search for their children and one of the dead girls in the morgue actually opens her eyes.

Sknath, that Devdas blooper is in the same vein as Charleton Heston wearing a watch in Ben-hur, so I feel it is valid. But the Nayak blooper the site lists isn't a blooper. He writes that when Rani and Anil come up out of the lake in the song "Chalo Chale Mitwa", they are perfectly dry. But that is obviously a trick shot done on purpose. You can't accidentally come out of a lake and be dry!

Fiza #1 -The colgate gel ad hoarding wehn the brand didnt exist back in 1993. it states it in the site too that dragun listed.
Fiza #2- Now I don't know if this would be a blooper/flaw or not but Karishma is supposed to be Hrithik's elder sister. It has been 6 years since he dissapeared. Once they move forward 6 years they show Karishma graduating from college. Now I assume she is 21 or 22 when she graduated. Now 6 years ago she would have been 15-16 and hrithik being younger would be no more than 15 years of age.. but that doesnt seem so when they show the flashback as hritik is still a full grown man and not a teenager.... now i dont know if this is a flaw cos once can reason that maybe karisma graduated from college late like 26-27 and hence justifying hrithik and karishma as full grown adults and not teenagers... but its something that i always wonder abt when i watch fiza...

I think the Aati Kya Khandala was still kind of stupid.

They didn't mention years in K3G. But then it said 10 years later, and it had Kareena dancing to Geri Halliwell's "It's Raining Men" and Modjo's "Lady Hear Me Tonight", which were both released in 2001. Quite tricky!

I hate the scene's where someone gets into a fight, and right after the fight, the girl/guy always has a different hairstyle/clothing!
