Well they ya go, cdguru.com have put the price up too, why be innovators when being the sheep is easier  £19.99+p&p now – don’t blame them really, YRF price of this DDLJ is high even for traders.

Awful picture +
Awful sound +
Awful supplements =
Awful disc

I was hoping for a avarage disc, but what I saw on my projection screen was a DVD on the scale of an EROS title. YRF should have given it to DEI who was offering them to do the authoring for free! Even the squash picture would have been better then what I saw on this DDLAMEJ DVD.

Why was the colours lifeless? Why dark details was weak? Why did the 5.1mix sounded like being in a cave (lots of echos) and why did I waste my £15 which I could have spend on my gf and would have gotten better fours hours entertainment as a result!!

Keep the pirate copies you have! its better dispite the wear and tear, compression artfacts and 1.85:1 cropping!

Just bought the disc from a local shop in Toronto, Canada for $40 no taxes. Print is okay, my pirate was better, got this DVD mainly for the extras and deleted scenes.

What a skank the public waits 6 years for a dvd and they get this for such a high price....sunny u got lucky by payin £15 everywher ive seen it is above £20......Bet the pirate dvd becomes like golddust.....Just like better pirated versions of DTPH, Vaastav and Aa ab laut chalein......and my moneys on the most recent K3G Pirate becomin golddust as we wont see a better release

Incidentally the prints shown by B4U and Channel 4 of this film are better than the yash raj version

How can Yash raj have refused free authoring by DVD kings DEI

Come on guys I think you are all being a bit TOO HARSH here....Heres what I think....

When I first saw the film today on DVD - I thought wow this is great..but after closer inspection i have the following points to make:

Why is there a line appearing on the right to middle of the screen - many times throughout the film?

The 5.1 mix seems true BUT if u listen closely to the back speakers, u do here psudeo echoes through the film - However I must stress it could have been alot worse ie EROS and Dhadkhan film - Remember???? - At least the echoes from the back speakers are not as loud as the front speakers.

The film only freezes once [compression probs] not bad - Remember Mohabbatein!!!!

I agree with FADDY point on the cover - It is pathetic!!! :baaa:

The picture transfer could have been better but folks it could have also been alot worse.

I also agree with ALI's point referring to Super Digital - I think DEI are the only company so far who have come close to producing good DVD's!!!

Overall I am happy with this film - At least it worked on my DVD player [Dil Chahta Hai]........and at least it has finally been released - Thank f***!!!

This is still one HOT DVD and it will sell like HOT CAKES no mater what anyone says....This is an old film - and remember it is SEVEN yrs old and alot has changed this film has been made.....I am sure many of us will pick out pointers if we watch this film today in the cinema - ALOT has changed in film-making.....

Finally I would like to congratulate the YRF and team for making such a great movie and finally getting their finger out of their asses and releasing the f..ing DVD!!!
