Vikram Bhatt's thriller movie 'Aitbaar' is in the news for some time. Now it seems that it will go smoothly without any trouble. The movie is about a father, who has already lost one child in a communal riot and becomes possessive, almost obsessive about the safety about his second child. Bipasha Basu and John Abraham come together for the second time in this movie. Superstar Amitabh Bachchan plays the father's role. Bipasha, a college student, falls in love with John Abraham and the father is convinced that Abraham is not a nice guy. Bipasha plays a submissive girl initially, but she becomes more decisive at the end when she has to choose between her lover and her father. The film, which went on the floor last year, got into financial trouble till the Tata group came to its rescue. It will be released in August, it is learnt.
In the meantime, Bipasha Basu has made it clear that she is not in the race for working with big banners. This unconventional looking actress believes in playing strong characters, and not in playing bubblegum romance. It is to be recalled that Bipasha has quit Boney Kapoor's new movie opposite Anil Kapoor being directed by Darmesh Darshan. The reason is that the film is a rehash of Ashok Kumar- Sunil Dutt starrer 'Gumraah'.
