Talaash is an unqualified flop
2002 was considered a bad year for the Hindi film industry. Everyone in the business hoped that Talaash, the first big release of 2003, starring Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor, would break the jinx. Unfortunately, it did not.
The other release of the week, Tujhe Meri Kasam saw the debut of Maharashtra Chief Minister's son Ritesh Deshmukh. It was largely unimpressive.

Note: Films are ranked below on the basis of their performance at the BO every week. Though a film may be declared a flop, it may have performed the best among the other films that particular week.

Akshay should stop doing movies with both the Darshan brothers. Suneel Darshan's next Mere Jeevan Sathi will also flop. the only good thing to look forward to is akshay - amisha pairing.

Same with Andaz, produced by suneel darshan & directed by raj kanwar. only decent thing about this movie will be akshay-lara dutta-priyanka chopra.

finally boney kapoor's Bewaffa anil kapoor, akshay, manoj bajpai & kareena. watch dharmesh darshan make another dud after the dissapointing HMBPK.

Akshay Kumar should stop doing films, PERIOD. Come on guys the guy cannot act to save his life. After 10 years and god knows how many films he has only finally learnt to be tolerable. Just like almost 95% of directors in Bollywood incliuding the Darshan brothers, most actors and actresses also need to go into retirement if there is to be any hope for the future of Hindi films.

only thing i hated about darshan's movies, it's strecthy.. meaning they have useless scenes, long dialogues.. a good editor would've been able to save their lives.
