Winners for each of the above for me would be;

DVD with the best picture quality
The Warrior (Film Four)

DVD with the best supplements
The Warrior (Film Four) - hands down winner, nothing comes close to this!

Ali :baaa:

Ali, what will be your choice limiting it to Region 1 or zero DVDs only?

Ali

I think it's a good idea to have Zulm DVD awards, but
not like in this thread.
Ali, can you set up the lists on the home page and
make voting possible? Multiple voting should be
impossible (vote inflation).
There should be enough people to vote
so it gets statistically relevant. And the results should
be published and sent to many related sites, DVD companies,
newspapers etc. It should have an impact.
It should not not be an informal joke but something that
is taken seriously.
cheers
Michel

I must say that the general quality of indian films DVD is pretty poor ! I mean why is there so much DVD with such a bad image quality. Makiing a good image transfer is not so diffcult ! Look at all the occidental DVDs, the image is most of the time perfect...

They may not give good image transfer, but they do give you an exact image transfer from their 10th generation VHS (gone through multi format transfers as well), most of the times.

BTW, Anwar, the link you got is the old, probably eros version (dated 2003). The same company, diaphana, has a new Prestige edition (2004) now.
