Delhi Girl in MONSOON WEDDING

Highly Sought After in Hollywood

Read this news story yesterday in SAMACHAR FILM section. Unfortunately didn’t post the link yesterday and today I can’t find it.

The news story goes something like this:

As Monsoon Wedding has become among the top 10 foreign releases, --------, (this girl) from Delhi has been highly sought after. Agents managing famous Hollywood stars have been trying her to sign contract with them. One of the Manager is the one managing the likes of J. Lo., ------,-------.

Which Delhi girl? Are they talking about Vasundhara Das (who plays the main role) or Neha Dubey who was the dancing girl & on the posters?

Vasundhra Das is not from Delhi. She is from the south, south India that is.

Rana, I read this article too and couldn't find it again. ??? The article talked about Sabrina Dhawan who was the writer for Monsoon Wedding.

Yes, it was Sabrina Dhawan. I remember, it was an English first name and Indian last name.

I thought they were talking about Actress, not a Writer. May be both??

Now, that I got the name, I am sure Google search will find that article or/ and more info. The most intresting was that one of the agents was the same who manages J. Lo.

i think it's pretty obvious they're talking about sabrina dhawan in the article.

"She is still shy about admitting that she has arrived. But Hollywood is desperately seeking Sabrina."

"They all want a piece of Sabrina Dhawan and a share of the profits they hope she will make."
